Night Walks in Banaras

Walking Tours

Night Walks are where we move from various sites throughout the city related to death & life.

Walk with us through the city and see Banaras as Mahashamstana, the great cremation ground.  Each tour ends with a spectacular intimate aarti ceremony.

Death & Rebirth in Banaras (7.00 PM - 9.30 PM)

Begin with rebirth at a fertility temple and end with death at the Harish Chandra cremation grounds, we also visit the unorthodox Aghor and end at a powerful Shiva complex.

Take your dinner early or after the walk.

Tantrik Temples (8.30PM - 11.00 PM)

Wander through goddess temples while discussing tantra (unorthodox philosophy) as you eventually reach Manikarnika cremation grounds and a hidden temple complex.

Take your dinner before!

Kashi Masaan (7.00 PM - 11.00 PM)

Kashi is the city of light and masaan means cremation ground. Come walk the whole night with us and catch a glimpse of life & death in Banaras on our classic night walk.

We will have a snack & chai midway.
